It appears John the Revelator knew about gravity’s connection to space-time long before Einstein.

“Speaking of Einstein,” Marty smiled. “Do you think religion and science must agree or neither will survive?” The chatter around the table stopped as those present seemed to consider her remark. Marty continued, “Religionists and scientists are searching for the same finite truth regarding the creation of the universe. It is obvious to me science will only survive if the truth includes unity and love.”

“True,” Ty said. “A good example is our discovery of atomic energy; if not used properly could destroy mankind.”

Marty liked to speculate about gravity and space-time in her journal and draw her own renditions of Einstein. (above from the novel Marty’s Dark Matter)

  • Religion is a cause, principle or system of beliefs held to with feeling and faith.
  • Science is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe.
  • John the Revelator wrote about four horses that could symbolically represent the four forces of nature. The white horse seems to represent gravity and its outward arrow of time. The rider the Holy Ghost to control and influence mankind. Gravity is the force that keeps us all grounded.
  • Revelation 6:2 “And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

Gravity changes time and is the consequence of Einstein’s space-time curvature or general theory of relativity.

Time seems to always move forward as does an arrow when shot from a bow. Time measures the procession of events of space. In this symbolic reference, the momentum of the bow on an arrow is the event. Momentum closer to the speed of light on the bow and arrow (energy/mass) causes time to tick much slower, only seconds. The arrow gradually slows because momentum bends the fabric of space-time causing time to gradually tick faster and the arrow to take more time to get where it’s going.

The following scripture also tells us more about gravity. Revelation 6:2 “And I saw, and behold a white horse: . . . ; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

We now know gravity is the weakest of the four forces, but used to rule over universal action and controls the structure and evolution of stars, galaxies, and the whole cosmos. “Crown was given unto him” symbolically appears as to be to the ruler and conqueror of the macro universe.

Gravity is the force that keeps us all grounded. Every object in the universe is exerting a gravitational force on other objects depending on their mass.

According to Einstein there was gravitational waves, thus gravity, during the Big Bang. This Big Bang, cosmic inflation of space faster than the speed of light, may have caused some dark energy to become equivalent mass thus creating gravitation in space-time? This could represent the origin of spiritual dark matter from intelligent dark energy with a gravity power controlled by a spiritual being, the Holy Ghost.

Why did John the Revelator use horses to symbolically describe power? Probably because a horse was a source of power in his day. In the 1700’s when the inventor James Watt was trying to explain the power of steam engines he referred to it as horsepower.

Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning [Big Bang?] God created [from dark energy?] the heaven and the earth [dark matter?].

“Richard Dawkins believes all came about by accident. Common sense tells me this is not possible, but then Dawkins does not believe there is common sense.” Marty looked around the table before continuing, “But is it not interesting that we know our whole visible universe operates by the same laws of physics. Seems like sense in common to me.”

Ty had grown accustomed to weird conversations around the Hansen dinner table. In fact it was part of what had attracted him to the brilliant autistic, red-haired, green-eyed, Marty in the first place.

Marty’s Dark Matter is an intriguing life story salted with connections between scripture and science to spice up the reader’s life.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [ dark because not seen in our dimension?] was upon the face of the deep [dark energy quark-gluon plasma?].

And the Spirit of God [power?] moved upon [cosmic inflation?] the face [presence?] of the waters [dark energy?].

Marty liked to draw pictures of her speculations about the origin of the universe while she tried to remain down-to-earth in everyday life.

Marty wondered if dark matter is spirit created from dark energy intelligence, both described as water in Genesis?

Dark matter is a nonluminous matter not yet detected by astronomers that is hypothesized to exist to account for various observed gravitation effects.

As intelligent humans, one thing we should know for sure is nothing can be made from nothing.

Everything has always existed in some form or another. What if the most elementary particles are dark energy of quark-gluon plasma which is moved upon by the forces of nature?

“And the Spirit [power?] of God moved upon the face of the waters [dark energy?]” Genesis 1:2.

“God divided [square root inverted?] the light [particles?] from the darkness [antiparticles?]” Genesis 1:4. Still connected but in different dimensions.

“And God said, Let there be a firmament [dark matter?] in the midst of the waters [dark energy?], and let it divide [square root invert particles and their antiparticles?] the waters [first dimension dark energy?] from the waters [second dimension dark matter?].”

What if dark matter is fine spiritual matter, folded with more dark energy void giving it less mass density?

But we don’t see dark matter. All we see is bended spacetime light.

After two decades of trying, physicists at CERN have measured the light spectrum of antimatter, revealing that antimatter is the exact mirror image of regular matter.
