“Why is there something rather than nothing?” The famous question asked by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, (b. 1646, d. 1716) the German philosopher, mathematician.

Interesting question. “Why is there something rather than nothing?” Science has a promising answer called string theory which in simple terms is everything is composed of vibrating strings and membranes of energy.
It makes more sense to believe that we came from something rather than nothing. In the late 1960’s science began studying the something they are sure everything comes from. These are infinite miniscule strings that have finite ways in which to vibrate which affects what they will become. I like to think of them as intelligent vibrating strings.

Much earlier than the Sixties, Prophets told us about this something that everything comes from. “Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made neither indeed can be.” D&C 93:29 Sounds a lot like strings that vibrate and were not created or made but always existed as a form of information and truth from energy of light.

Science suggests that everything is made of these unbelievably tiny strings, whose vibrations produce effects that we interpret as atoms, electrons, and quarks. God created our universe from these most fundamental intelligent vibrating strings, from which He was probably once created.
