The four forces of nature are gravity, electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force, and the weak nuclear force.
Long before we knew there were four forces of nature, John the Revelator may have described them as beasts. Revelation 6:1 “And I saw when the Lamb [Christ?] opened one of the seals [dimensions?], and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder [gravity?] and one of the four beasts [four forces of nature?] saying, Come see [electromagnetism?].”
John likely described the forces of nature as beasts because the beasts of burden were the power or rate of doing work in those ancient times.
Today we are much more familiar with the four beastly powers of nature.
