A 2017 nbcnews.com report, by Dan Falk, mentioned these five big physic’s questions. These interesting questions remain unanswered. To order Marty’s Dark Matter novel click on M. Kasey, author, top of this website and learn more about this intriguing story and philosophy.
- What is Dark Matter?
Astronomers studying distant galaxies noticed the galaxies seemed to hold more matter than could be accounted for by the approximately 5% visible material. The missing material, labelled dark matter (dark because we cannot see it), is believed to make up around 25% of total mass and energy in our universe. University of Toronto physicist Roberto Abraham said, “It would be nice to know what the dark matter particle is – or even to have some reassurance that it is a particle.”

That reassurance can be found if dark matter is the spiritual matter spoken of in scripture. “There is no such thing as immaterial matter. All spirit is matter, but it is more fine or pure, and can only be discerned by purer eyes;” (Doctrine and Covenants 131:7). Perhaps more fine and pure particles can only be seen by our spiritual eyes. It remains ‘dark’ matter because we can’t see it in this dimension with our physical eyes.
2. What is Dark Energy?
It was the Hubble Space Telescope that revealed galaxies are speeding away from each other at an accelerating rate. The mysterious force giving everything the extra push was dubbed dark energy (dark because we cannot see it). Best estimate is that dark energy accounts for around 70% of energy and mass in the universe. Physicist Roberto Abraham said, “And I intend to devote the next couple of decades of my life to looking into it.”

What if he discovers the truth about dark energy is found in the scriptures and is what we call intelligence? “Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.” (Doctrine and Covenants 93:29) Light could symbolize energy and truth refer to mass. This could be the eternal energy that has always existed and is the most elementary of all particles. When the 100% dark energy for our universe is square root inverted (Big Bang) it might account for 70% dark energy, 25% dark matter with some dark matter entangled and overlapping to form 5% normal mass.
3. What came before the Big Bang?
In the 2017 Falk article, physicists were still saying, “If time began with the Big Bang there simply was no ‘before’.” Now physicists like Alan Guth and Sean Carroll in Scientific American.com, The Founder of Cosmic Inflation Theory on Cosmology’s Next Big Ideas, are proposing; “The universe is actually eternal. It existed at all times, so there is no beginning to explain.” They also suggest, “We are living in one of these pocket universes…that keep forming… producing an infinite number of these pocket universes in a never-ending procession.”

Perhaps if they had read their scriptures they would have known this back in 2017 and a long time before. “For he that diligently seeketh shall find; and the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto them, by the power of the Holy Ghost, as well in these times as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round.” (1Nephi 10:19) Also: (D&C 20:17, Romans 1:20)
4. What is inside a Black Hole?
Glenn Starkman, a physicist at Case Western Reserve University, suggests, “It’s possible that quantum mechanics and general relativity somehow ‘shake hands’ at the event horizon, and work in a different way then here on Earth.” Others have suggested there could be white holes on the other side with opposite force. Others have said black holes and wormholes are conduits to different dimensions.

Perhaps the normal mass dimension is connected to the dark matter (spiritual) dimension allowing Elijah to travel very quickly. “And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” (2 Kings 2:11) The chariot of fire a powerful conduit, the horses of fire the powerful four forces of nature, thus creating a whirlwind of a black hole or wormhole that parted asunder representing the opposite pushing outward of white holes and pulling inward of black holes.
5. Are We Alone?
Astronomers believe there are at least a trillion galaxies in the visible universe. This makes it unlikely we are alone in the universe. Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the SETI Institute near San Francisco suggests, “[…] as many as one out of every five planets is habitable. If that’s right, the cosmos could contain a billion trillion habitable planets.”
Why are we surprised? Long ago in the 14th – 13th century BC the Lord God said to Moses: “And worlds without number have I created; and I also created them for mine own purpose; and by the Son I created them, which is mine Only Begotten.” (Moses 1:33)
What if dark energy is our genesis and the most elementary entity of everything?

Dark energy is a hypothetical form of energy — a property of space or perhaps space itself.

“And the earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.” Genesis 1:2
Void means we have to go back before atoms could form. We have to go back to time before matter and antimatter pairs could spontaneously form.

Even father back to a time when the universe was so energetic that pairs of particles/antiparticles are spontaneously created from quark-gluon plasma. Back before light and beginning of time. This is probably when God said, “Let there be light and there was light,” Genesis 1:3, some 13.8 billion earth years ago.

Even further back before cosmic inflation to quark-gluon plasma or quark-antiquark bosons not in an excited state. Back to groups of plasma or intelligences of everything and everyone. “Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence [dark energy?], or the light [energy?] of truth [mass?], was not created or made, neither indeed can be.” Doctrine and Covenants 93:29.

What if this not excited state was when plasma intelligences were progressing within? “Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones.” Pearl of Great Price, Abraham 3:22
Perhaps the theory of everything is simply dark energy made of equal negative and positive particles that square root inflate and progress to dark matter, some of which slows to entangle or overlap with faster dark matter to form normal mass, then to return to dark matter and then to resurrected matter. In other words, progress from intelligence to spirit to physical (to be tested) back to spirit to everlasting resurrection mass. Something to think about. M. Kasey
